PROV!DENCE is a quartet from Porto Alegre (Brazil) that creates spontaneous and intense music, drawing strong influences from indie, new wave, shoegaze, dreampop, and post-punk. In their live performances, the band unveils urgent rhythms, extensive reverbs, and a dense, emotional delivery. Through Rust's vocals over expansive instrumental ambiances, a variety of original songs are crafted, offering both solace and prophecy. PROV!DENCE creates fresh and vibrant music, at times epic, at times sentimental, grounding its aesthetic in the realm of intimate mythologies and crafting songs that resonate on rainy days as well as in the collective solitude of the dance floor.

Tinydesque Sessions

PROV!DENCE conducts intense and frequent rehearsals, often captured through the lenses of @perdimeudrone, adding a heightened sensitivity and visual element. In their headquarters, a room in an ordinary apartment, rehearsals and new compositions take place. When recorded live, we affectionately referred to them as "Tinynedesque Sessions".

Christmas Special

A Tiny Desk-like video to celebrate the band's first year of unwavering dedication to making as much music as possible. Fondly presented as "Christmas Special", it counts on three songs: "A Getaway", "Spears and Arrows", and "New Phone"

Fully Aware

"𝑭𝒖𝒍𝒍𝒚 𝑨𝒘𝒂𝒓𝒆" begins with a spontaneous riff during one of PROV!DENCE's rehearsals while the band takes a break—except for Silver, who, in his quest for tones, captures the attention of others while strumming some quick chords on his jaguar. In a burst of inspiration, Rust enters the room and starts recording the riff, improvising a melodic murmur that ultimately shaped the destiny of the lyrics, later crafted by Silver himself. The song speaks of aspirations, commonplaces of joy and human sadness, and how we are fully aware that the essence lies in being with those we cherish.

Themes of Youth

"Themes of Youth" explores the almost-adolescent perspective on love. "Doodling scenes in the sand" and Evoking perfect romantic scenarios and clichéd images reminiscent of Hollywood rom-coms, the song also delves into the drama—almost exclusive to youth—of not knowing how to handle conflicts in relationships.
